o Elaboration of new for methods for detection and differentiation of dangerous pathogens and etiologic agents of such diseases as anthrax, cholera, tularemia, glanders, melioidosis, plague and Q fever.
• Development research
o Elaboration and introduction of new methods and measures in the field of biological weapon protection

• Applications
o Initiation, project and tasks elaboration of Biological Survey Teams of Polish Armed Forces
o Field Microbiological Laboratory of Multinational Division CS in Iraq - project elaboration.

• Education and expertise
o Trainings for civilian and military specialists in the field of weapons of mass destruction protection, epidemiological management and for microbiological laboratories personnel
• Constant readiness
o Participation in international (UE, NATO) round robin laboratory exercises
o State of the art detection and identification techniques
o Our staff  participates in NATO/UN peacekeeping and stabilization mission as mission laboratory personnel
